Occasionally on Tuesday nights (luckily, my night of the week to work) my library runs a program called K9 Reading, in which children who have difficulty reading aloud in front of their peers get the opportunity instead to read in front of a patient, non-judging, storytime loving dog.  (igather:thebronzemedal)
